About the job :
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Purchase order maintenance as per assigned vendor / business unit, ensuring anefficient and timely PO transactional process
Monitoring the inbound flow of goods into the CEDC, ensuring a smooth supply of goods and CEDC operations
Monitoring purchase order acknowledgements, scheduling and lead time compliance, directly impacting the customer service compliance targets
Monitoring the CEDC stock levels to minimize stock outs and maximize customer service compliance ( see previous point)
Customer service enquiry handling
Expedites processing with suppliers
Vendor management( for a specific ESSC supplier/ business unit) including escalation management, sharing performance metrics and optimizing the supply situation
Sales order backlog reporting and communication of supply issues to management and Local Sales Offices
Prioritizing demand in supply chain delivery shortage situations
Processing of item enquiries and new item set-ups
Act as a point of contact to all EMEA Local Sales office locations for all Order Fulfillment enquiries
