About the job
Administering the activities involved in products sourced from our parent company in Japan. Work will involve:
Placing purchase orders
Monitoring inbound shipment
Managing stock
Instructing the warehouse to ensure timely delivery
Invoicing customer on confirmation of despatch
Monitoring payments
Providing data for field sales manager
A certain amount of general office duties will also be required including:
Reception / switchboard duties
Supporting / backing up other members of staff when they are absent
Ad-hoc translation of Dutch language documents into English
General office management – stationary supplies etc.
Job requirements
Good organisation skills and attention to detail are essential.
Excellent IT skills are essential, particularly in Microsoft Office.
Possession of a recognised secretarial / administration / accounting qualification would be advantageous.
Fluency in both Dutch and English is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are key.
