About the job
For a short leave cover of 3 weeksto start per 01/01/2012 we are looking for a Bulgarian speaking Secretary.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
• Maintaining the necessary contacts, especially with the home authorities of the National Member;
• Keepingdiaries up to date;
• Organising various meetings, especially with representatives of the investigation and prosecution authorities of the Member States;
• Taking notes and minutes;
• Preparing presentation sheets;
• Making travel and accommodation arrangements;
• Setting up and maintaining filing systems;
• Deputising for other secretaries during absences;
• Dealing with the receipt, distribution and registration of all correspondence to/from the National Member;
• Processing letters, notes, minutes and other texts;
• Assisting in legal research on European and national legislation;
• Organising the National Member’s workload in terms of administrative tasks.
Job requirements
Essential
• Experience and knowledge in the areas mentioned above under “key accountabilities”;
• Thorough knowledge of English is essential in the field of activities/tasks covered by the post, English being the vehicular language at the organization and a satisfactory knowledge of another language of the Communities;
- Fluent Bulgarian both written and spoken
• Secretarial experience;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package;
• Good written and oral communication skills;
• Good organisational skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Ability to work under time pressure;
• Dynamic and creative personality.
