Job description
The Business Development Manager/Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the Marketing team on a day to day basis, which consists of four buyers and one Assistant manager. The Marketing Manager is also responsible for the ongoing procurement of raw materials (paper) to be exported primarily to our mills in China, as well as the internal operational reporting and market analysis associated with such activity.
Establishing supplier relationships and expertly communicating market conditions are amongst the primary tasks of this job. The Marketing Manager will spend a significant amount of time on the phone and in the field with current and prospective clients and negotiating agreements required to meet the procurement goals and overall mission of the company. Besides exporting raw materials to our mills in China the Sales to third parties in other Asian countries (e.g. India) needs to be developed.
Requirements
- HBO (Higher Vocational Education) in e.g. Commercial Economics
NEVI II is a plus
- Professional appearance
- 3-5 years experience in a procurement type of role and/or in a trading role highly preferred
- 3-5 years experience as a Manager
- 3-5 years experience in a business development role
- Languages: fluent in Dutch and English
An extra European language is a plus
- EU citizenship, valid passport/ID and drivers license with safe driving record
- Superior commercial, communication, Management and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and analytical/problem solving capabilities
- Open minded, quick thinker, team player, hands on approach, able to work fairly independent, self motivated and entrepreneurial mentality
- Flexible person also because of the amount of travel involved
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel)
Salary indication
4,500 - 5,000 Euro gross per month plus bonus
