Job description
Frequently communicating and travelling to meet with existing suppliers
Negotiating terms and conditions of supplier agreements
Maintaing quality specifications and resolving quality issues as they arise
Gathering market information for further analysis
Researching new market opportunities in close cooperation with the logistics team
Presenting the company to potential suppliers
Frequently communicating with the back office and the logistics team while striving for operational excellence
Job requirements
HBO (Higher Vocational Education) in e.g. marketing or economics
Professional appearance
A minimum of 2-5 years experience in a procurement type of role
Strong negotiation and analytical/problem solving abilities
Fluency in Italian and English is a must (Plus knowledge of either French, Spanish or Dutch)
Valid passport/ID and driver’s license with safe driving record
Superior communication and presentation skills
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel)
Self-motivation, entrepreneurial mentality combined with strong time- management skills
