Job description Order process specialist with fluency in French!!!!ON HOLD!
JOB SUMMARY: This position is key to sales and revenue process by providing support to the European customer support (CS) organization through interactions with sales force and other functional areas within the company relating to order processing and fulfillment of products and services. This position processes CS back office transactions in applicable systems. Provide clerical support for internal business processes. This position operates with a strong focus on service that includes quick, accurate, efficient troubleshooting, and issue resolution via telephone, fax and/or e-mail communication. Working within the CS Process team, this position is the first line of support for back office administrative inquiries for the CS team. Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload. Excellent coordination and communication skills are required when liaising with Customer Support, Sales, Marketing or Finance.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide consistent quality customer support by answering routine and non-routine questions posed by internal customers through inbound telephone call, writing, fax, or electronic mail.
* Validation of sales contracts
* Processing of quotes & sales orders in applicable systems (SAP, etc.)
* Direct instrument order processing
* Consumable (email, fax) order processing
* Setting up and maintaining Extended Maintenance Agreements (EMA) in applicable systems.
* Research and resolve problem orders, billing adjustments, return requests, credit or debit requests, etc.
* Direct communications with country sales organization with regards to order status and other sales-related information (focus on instrument orders).
* Identify and elevate business process improvement initiatives
* Partner with other functional areas to resolve customer issues
* Understand and support the vision of specific Business Units as assigned to provide a level of service which exceeds the customers’ expectations
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
* High School Diploma required
* 2-Year Associate Degree or 1 year of related experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
* Advanced knowledge of related order fulfillment processes is highly regarded
* Knowledge of SAP highly regarded
* Experience with Microsoft Office

Must understand the importance of the role that the customer plays in the success of corporate objectives. Effective verbal and written communication skills: ability to communicate both verbally and in writing while working on customer, team and organizational related issues. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Speak and write fluent English and ideally one other European Language.

Make empowered decisions on customer issues and assigned problems using discretion and independent judgment. Be able to identify resolutions quickly and efficiently using troubleshooting techniques. Be able to balance customer needs with corporate objectives and policies. Be able to adapt known techniques and information to help identify resolutions to newly identified issues. Be able to identify and seek assistance on difficult customer issues when necessary. Work under general supervision.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Understanding and knowledge of metric system. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to calculate discounts. Understanding of general statistical and analytical techniques.
Job Knowledge:
Clear understanding of the support systems and database programs/reports used in the customer support department. Must be able to complete work in a timely manner. Must demonstrate initiative to resolve issues. Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Solid organizational skills. Detail orientation. Work well under pressure and tight time constraints. Positive attitude.
