Job description
- Responsible for a proper installation and integration of the companies software in the network and application environment of the customer;
- Prepares and gives technical related training to technical and functional administrators, in order to achieve well trained administrators who are able to maintain and manage the companies product suite;
- Solves technical issues and gives support to internal and external questions and troubleshoots problems;
- Pro-actively gets and keeps technical knowledge and skills up-to-date in order to be able to perform an excellent job;
- Gives presentations, writes contents and leads sessions in order to share technical knowledge and experiences with colleagues in own department and other departments;
- Delivers technical or project information to sales, that can be used as input for commercial proposals or as information documents;
- Delivers input in the Technical Roadmap of our R&D department.
Requirements
- Education level: Bachelor/Master
- Experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, SQL and/or Crystal Syntax
- Knowledge/experience with (recent) storage and network technologies and architectures
- Expert in Windows server 2003/2008 OS
- Knowledge/experience with MS Windows server infrastructures
- Has strong technical and analytical skills
- Has strong communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Is flexible, well-organized, proactive and gives attention to details
- Has knowledge of technical details and is able to explain it to users in a lucid manner
- Is willing to travel international
