Our client is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager for Benelux and Switzerland to assist in driving revenue and market share through effective marketing campaigns and regional direct and indirect strategy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy for the region, controlling and optimising the use of both direct and indirect (through co-op funds with channel partners) You will have a Field Marketing budget, to deliver compelling market activities through different tiers of customer seminars and partners in the region. Your key markets will be Financial Services, the Public Sector, Retail etc.
You will be creating, owning and executing the regional marketing strategy aligning to the sales objectives in the region, fully leveraging relevant corporate solutions and campaigns and tracking the ROI.
You will be able to build, motivate and develop and leverage “virtual” teams from within the Group and develop close working relationships with Marketing colleagues especially within other regions as well as across the global marketing team in the US.
You will have close collaboration with regional Sales Directors to ensure alignment of sales and marketing goals and close collaboration with the partner programmes team to ensure alignment of channel marketing goals and metrics.
Additionally you will drive PR for our client’s relationship with agencies and media in the region and act as a spokesperson at conferences, work with the press and analyst community and Industry Forums in the specific markets such as Finance, Banking, E-Commerce & Public Sector such as central & local government.

The ideal candidate will have 6 -10 years experience in a fast moving B2B Marketing environment, ideally in the technology sector, additionally you will have experience of delivering marketing programmes with/ through a two tier channel & Systems Integrators in the Tier 1 & 2. Ideally we are seeking a Marketing Manager with experience in security software, network intrusion, identify theft, phishing or similar.
You will also have the ability to present, influence and collaborate with the EMEA team and you will have budget management skills, ideally you will have a CIM Diploma or degree in marketing to work as part of a large global matrix & be used to driving sales through marketing.
Preferred languages are Dutch, German and English.
