The role reports into the Head of the Investor Relations Department of Heineken NV and Heineken Holding N.V. Given the strong growth of the Group, it has been decided to strengthen the department to a total of five people (approx 4.5 FTE). The Investor Relation Department is part of the Group Finance function.
The Investor Relations Department (IRD) of Heineken N.V. and Heineken Holding N.V. builds, manages and protects the financial reputation and perception of the Heineken Group in the global capital markets through building informed opinions and maintaining meaningful relationships in the capital markets. This should also result in lower cost of capital.
IRD is responsible for the regular and timely flow of information to the capital markets and is first point of contact for, and primarily liaison with the capital markets.
IR combines the disciplines of finance, communication and marketing. On a timely basis, IR provides existing and potential shareholders and bondholders as well as financial analysts with an accurate profile of the Heineken strategy, performance and outlook based on published information and thus guides the expectations of the capital markets.
The jobholder plays a role in all of the above as a member of Heinekens IR team. He/she supports the development of key messages for the financial audiences and communicates these key messages aimed at developing and reinforcing the financial image of the Heineken group.
These messages cover Heinekens policies, strategies, performances and outlook. The messages are communicated through press releases, presentations in the key financial centres in the world, one-on-one meetings, conference calls and investor conferences organised by Heineken or third parties and through telephone calls and communication through the internet
The financial audiences consist of financial analysts, institution equity and bond investors, private investors and, occasionally, the financial press. The company has issued shares as well as bonds.
