Daily routine activities such as creation of datasheets and product codes, updating databases, ad-hoc price calculations.
Define clear, prioritised, market-driven product requirements for new product developments.
Will be assigned specific tasks related to the overall management of a particular product or product groups. Tasks may involve the improvement, promotion and rationalization of the product.
Ensure that the product roadmap and positioning is consistent with overall company strategy.
Perform research and determine source of product issues.
Work with appropriate resources to insure timely and accurate resolution.
Assists senior product manager in the product launch process.
Interface with production plants, supply chain, product developers and sales to ensure upcoming release schedules are properly planned, coordinated, and reviewed prior to anticipated release dates.
Analysis of product portfolio, market and technology trends and competitive benchmarking.
Analysis of revenue and gross profit of products against plans.
Work with segment marketers.
Complete tasks in a timely manner within the timeframe established.
Occasional travel may be required.
Candidate Profile Product Manager
Must be Fluent in English, other European languages are plus.
A relevant degree in business, engineering or similar.
Must have solid experience as a product manager.
Must have 2-4 work experience in the paper industry is a must and in chemicals, material science is an advantage.
Entrepreneurship, enthusiasm and eagerness.
Self-starter, ability to work individually as well as strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and inclined to take initiatives.
Analytical with an excellent feeling for numerical analysis.
Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes is a plus.
