Requirements:
• College degree or a CDCS Certification (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) is preferred..
• Experience in general finance or accounting.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience of Trade Service Operations or related trade experience by a bank or international company.
• Good understanding in structuring and Issuing Specialized Letters of Credit, Standby Letter of Credit, different sorts of bank guarantees.
• Good understanding of the Uniform Customs and Practices for Documentary Credits.
• Good understanding of the International Standard Banking practice for the examination of documents under Documentary Credits.
• Good understanding of Uniform Rules for Collections.
• Good understanding of Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees Working understanding of Uniform Commercial Code Article 5.
• Working understanding of ISP 98 ICC Publication Nr. 590 for Standby Letters of Credit and ICC Nr. 458 for Bank Guarantees preferred.
• Knowledge of International procurement processes including payment terms and the uniform commercial code.
• Accurate with good analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SAP, strongly preferred Lotus Notes, MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
• Good communications skills in English, good to excellent communication skills in Spanish is a plus
