Our client, an international direct marketing company specialising in the insurance business, is looking for an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of their programs in South America as well as the management of the local client relationships.

Job Profile

The Project Manager will work together with a Senior Manager to start up the client relationship, building an extensive knowledge base. They will consecutively manage the implementation and execution of the program.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

Planning, implementation and execution of direct marketing campaigns with insurance companies, banks and other financial institutions.

Under management from the Senior Manager execute the Knowledge Building phase; collecting information from all aspects of the Client’s operation in order to start campaign implementation and prepare the Decision Summary.

Prepare the Reinsurance Premium Quote Request and Schedules to the various agreements and present to Senior Manager for sign off.

Request the relevant agreements and liaise between all parties until finalised and signed (draft, comments, agreement, signing).

Write the Campaign Information Document and Creative Brief in collaboration with the Senior Manager.

Establish regular (weekly) status calls with the Client to monitor progress and manage issues.
Work with the Client to develop the direct marketing infrastructure and set up of the fulfillment, administrative, reporting aspects, provide detailed briefing documentation to the Client and monitor the process.

Maintain day-to-day client relationships required for implementation of direct marketing programs.

Prepare the Campaign Information Document, Creative Brief, Data Selection & Extract Brief, Data Processing Brief and Budget, manage and monitor related processes and tasks performed by the Project Coordinator.

Candidate Profile

MUST BE fluent in either Spanish or Portuguese with excellent language skills in the other (written and spoken). Additional, excellent English is required as well as a reasonable level of Dutch.

Minimum of five years work experience with at least three years direct marketing project management, preferably in the financial services industry.

Must have database, direct mail and telemarketing campaign management experience.
Strong understanding of the mechanics of primary direct marketing channels (mail, telemarketing, internet) and keeping up-to-date with new developments.

Strong project management skills.
Production supplier management skills.
Solid analytical skills.
Solid level of knowledge of MS Office software, specifically Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
Willingness to travel extensively – also intercontinental - and working outside office hours.
Flexible attitude towards other cultures, working environments, travel and working hours.
Strong organisational & time management skills; ability to set priorities, complete tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
Developing client management skills.
Highly motivated, taking ownership of campaigns and their deliverables.
