Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center Maastricht N.V. is based in Maastricht since 1998. It is the central point of contact for Europe, taking care of the needs of current and prospective customers.
The company has a multicultural environment with over 40 different nationalities and more than 600 employees to give customers personal assistance in their own language.
Some of the services are available 24hours, seven days per week.

Job role:
As a member of a multilingual and multicultural company, with a supportive and friendly environment, you will be part of the User Helpdesk Department with the objective of being the first point of contact for delivering worldwide support to external entities that use the company’s vehicle diagnostic equipment and software.
The supported entities consist of retail organisations, local headquarters, internal and external customers. Furthermore, you’re role is to liaise with external suppliers of hardware devices for resolving issues.

Your main responsibilities are:
- Resolve incoming support requests, incidents and problems.
- Create tickets for logistics partners to pick-up and return defective units.
- Support users with process knowledge.
- Log all incoming issues in the electronic ticketing system
- Resolve minor training issues on the phone.
- Delegate and monitor complex issues.
- Identify problems that can affect processes and escalate to management.
- Tracking and escalating items to the after sales division.

Requirements:

Language Skills:
- Fluent in Japanese Keigo
- Good knowledge of English (written and verbal skills required)
- Verbal fluency in the following language is a plus: German, French, Dutch, Italian or Spanish.

Qualifications:
- Superior vocational training and/or college.

Experience:
- Previous experience in customer support / problem-solving business processes.
- High affinity with the car trade, technology and / or electronic equipment.

IT skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office package

Soft skills:
- Ability to identify, analyse and resolve problems over the phone with involved partners.
- Ability to understand the relationship between internal and external processes and how tools and support systems interact.

- Team player
- Open-minded to a diversity of cultures

The offer
- Contract: one year contract + renewal

- Salary: € 1782 - € 2300 gross per month (based on a 40 hour/week average), depending in experience. Shift allowance based on actual worked hours.

- Working hours: 40 hours per week, with scheduling from Monday to Saturday in shifts (5-7 night shifts a month).
