About the job :
Principal duties and responsibilities:
• Purchase order maintenance as per assigned vendor / business unit, ensuring anefficient and timely PO transactional process
• Monitoring the inbound flow of goods into the CEDC, ensuring a smooth supply of goods and CEDC operations
• Monitoring purchase order acknowledgements, scheduling and lead time compliance, directly impacting the customer service compliance targets
• Monitoring the CEDC stock levels to minimize stock outs and maximize customer service compliance ( see previous point)
• Customer service enquiry handling
• Expedites processing with suppliers
• Vendor management( for a specific ESSC supplier/ business unit) including escalation management, sharing performance metrics and optimizing the supply situation
• Sales order backlog reporting and communication of supply issues to management and Local Sales Offices
• Prioritizing demand in supply chain delivery shortage situations
• Processing of item enquiries and new item set-ups
• Act as a point of contact to all EMEA Local Sales office locations for all Order Fulfillment enquiries
