Introduction and role Senior Mechanical Project Manager
The company has been active for 10 years as OEM contract manufacturer for European clients.
A team of around 70 professionals develop and assemble these client’s products. All component production is subcontracted to around 60 different suppliers in China. Assembly is done in our own assembly factory in Foshan.
Due to the growth of the business and the increasing complexity of the products being made we are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager, who knows what it takes to get complex products made at the highest possible quality levels, within budget and deadline.
The new Senior Mechanical Project Manager will play a leading role in the development and implementation of new assembly projects. The position is for our operation in China.
About the company
The company is a transparent and relatively flatly organized company. With sales being based in the Netherlands and operations concentrated in China, direct communication and taking responsibility are success factors.
Requirements
Location
Min 90% China – Foshan / Guangzhou - Max 10% Netherlands or Rest of World
Language                          Â
English: Â Chinese, Dutch & German are plusses.
Education level              Â
Technical University degree in mechanical engineering
Experience/skills           Â
At least 5 years in combination of
  Assembly environment
  Mechanical engineering environment
  New product development
  Manufacturing outsourcing environment
  OEM manufacturing
  Complex products – box build
  Bike & professional gym equipment is plus
  Medical products is plus
  Living & working in China is plus
  CAD skills
  Project management
  Budgeting
  Team player
  Solution oriented
Salary indication
RMB 15.000 – 35.000 per month dependent on experience and qualifications (€1800 - €3700 per month)
