The marketing executive is responsible for operational marketing activities and planning for the exhibitions as well as the online/print activities, consisting of:
- Coordinating all (visitor) marketing activities
- Contributing and implementing the operational  marketing planning
- Responsibility for maintaining and building the profile of the event brand through marketing communication and coordination with the teams
- Propositioning expenditure budgets for marketing activities and preparing product marketing plans
- Responsibility for timely management, production and consistency of all printed materials (i.e. exhibition brochures, visitor tickets, advertisements, press releases, show updates, facts and figures, sponsor opportunities, publicity manual, catalogues, surveys).
- Responsibility for implementation of the media plan (e.g. via barter arrangements)
- Writing and/or editing promotional copy, press releases and sales letters;
- Responsibility for implementation of all on-site activities
- Identifying future growth areas and through analysis of data and market intelligence reports
- Providing guidance to marketing assistant and trainees (if applicable)

Requirements
The successful candidate will have two-3 years of marketing experience (candidates with more experience will not be considered as there will not be enough challenge in the role), ideally in exhibitions/events. She or he is a creative person with the ability to multi-task in a hectic environment. Working with colleagues globally requires a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). An excellent command of English is imperative.

EXTRA INFO
-         Ability to manage and take responsibility for their own projects – this should be demonstrated by a minimum of 2 solid experience in either marketing campaign management or project management
-         Ability to manage suppliers – demonstrated by direct supplier management
-         Comfortable with using new Excel and IT software systems including: Customer Relationship Management Systems and Email marketing systems. One should be comfortable using Excel and understand the importance of analysis to help them build better marketing campaigns.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Previous experience in managing a junior staff member, for example, junior marketing executive or intern
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â It is also important that the candidate has a strong interest in marketing & communications, demonstrated by either having studied it or held a marketing position in the last 2 years and wishes to pursue a career in marketing.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â To clarify- someone should not have been a manager before or aspire to become a manager in the near future if applying for this role.
Salary indication
28, 500 -32,000/year depending on experience + 8% vacation pay and 15% bonus if all targets are reached
