Principal Responsibilities
Daily and weekly tasks:
General Ledger: Including importing of data from third party suppliers, bank bookings, journal entry, account reconciliation & analysis.
Purchase ledger; Entry of invoices, approval process, payment initiation and recording
Sales ledger; Inter-Co re-charges
Reconciliation of Inter-Company balances
Monthly tasks;
Analysis, reporting and commentary on results
Quarterly tasks;
Preparation of German quarterly VAT Returns
Preparation of quarterly reporting
Other periodic reporting;
Preparation of forecasts
Assisting the preparation of annual accounts
Cash flow forecasting
Job requirements
Experience
Minimum 3 years comparable experience or suitable qualification
(or relevant experience)
Real estate experience would be an advantage
IT
Extensive knowledge of Excel, word & outlook
Accounting software Exact
Personal skills;
Attention to detail and accuracy even under pressure
Planning and organizing
Communication skills
Hands on mentality.
