About the job

You will be part of a bigger HR team that provides personnel support to the employees.
Tasks:
- Provide (complex) administrative assistance to the assignedHR Services Unit and assist in the general operation to maintain quality and effectiveness.
- Ensure that employees/organizations receive HR support as authorized.
- Handle telephone/email/personal enquiries and advises accordingly, referring more complex matters to the appropriate HR Assistant or HR Advisor.
- Process incoming and outgoing (e)mail and prioritizes accordingly.
- Maintain records and/or files as required in the assigned HR Services Unit.
- Assist the Administrator, Supervisor and/or HR Advisor in compiling data for the preparation of comprehensive HR related and miscellaneous reports. Verify records for accuracy and provide supporting documentation when required.
- Assist the Administrator, Supervisor and/or HR Advisor with special projects, long-range studies, and related activities.
- Provide work direction to subordinate HR Assistants as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
In addition to the duties common to allHR Assistants, the following duties are specific to the assigned area:
- Provide administrative support to ensure timely provision of Visa, Resident and other permits as required. This includes:
- Assisting employees to apply for work permits worldwide
- Providing letters of invitation and letters of employment to employees, allowing them to apply for visa worldwide
- Assisting employees coming to the Netherlands in their arrival and departure, for example by accompanying them to the municipality or to help them to exchange their foreign driver’s license for a Dutch license.
- Applying for the 30% ruling for employees coming to the Netherlands
- Assisting on Training and Internship cases
- Processing invoices in SAP


Job requirements

We are looking for someone with at least an High School degree and three years of clerical experience, preferably in HR and Visa & Immigration. We need someone who speaks both English and Dutch fluently. In addition, we are looking for someone who has:
- experience in working with expatriate organisations/ clientele;
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- good computer skills in MS Office and SAP;
- a pro-active work attitute;
- a high degree of serive-mindedness and cultural awareness;
- the ability to prioritize and reprioritze, due to changing needs.
