Job description
- Taking care of a flawless order intake process for non-system orders
- Keeping track of status of non-SYSTEM sales orders
- Taking care of the invoicing process
- Giving assistance to F&A when problems occur
- Responsible for maintenance and up-to-date information of sales orders in the ERP system
- Daily communication with our preferred freight forwarders regarding all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Problem solving (hence, first point of contact internal and external for all planned and unplanned shipping issues)
- Keeping customers informed on the status of pending orders.
- Contribute in several logistics improvement projects
- Dealing with export control issues (Protect)
- Taking care of the Dangerous Goods shipments
Requirements
- Typically a higher secondary education is required, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the required skills.
- Typically requires 1-2 years of experience, preferable in a highly flexible business-to-business environment
- Experience/knowledge of MFGPRO or ERP systems
- Experience/knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Word
- Fluent in English (verbal and written), fluency in Dutch is also required.
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written) on all levels: with internal and external customers, with colleagues of Logistics (Planning/Service/Procurement/Warehouse), with F&A etc.
- Required forwarding knowledge: specialized courses (e.g handling chemicals, export control as offered by institutes as EVO or Fenedex)
