Norwegian Speaking Customer Contact Representative

Our client, a large international company, is seeking to recruit a Norwegian Speaking Customer Contact Representative for their offices located in Amsterdam
Job Role
As a Customer Contact Representative you will answer travel related questions coming from customers and, if applicable, travel agents. You suggest opportunities for them and make the travel reservations or help them solve their own specific problem while visiting our client’s website. You look for improvements in the process and take further action if needed.
Responsibilities:
You give general information, support and service in an effective way to customers and, if applicable, travel agents in order to improve customer satisfaction.
You give information to customers on flight fares, availability and schedules, recognize sales leads and acts upon them, explain advantages of the product over competitive airlines and searches for alternatives if the customer’s initial wish cannot be fulfilled in order to conclude a sale and to increase turnover.
You will Provide feedback and suggest improvements.
The Candidate:
• General (HAVO) or professional (MBO) secondary education level of work and perception
• Fluent knowledge of English and Norwegian
• Experience in working with computers
• Education in tourism is a plus
• Proven sales & service attitude
• Experience in working at a call center and/or in a travel/airline related industry is also a plus
• Interpersonal sensitivity
• Resistance to stress
• Power of persuasion
• Verbal communication
• Sales & customer service orientation
Additional Info
Salary: €17,700
40 hours/week
The department is open from Monday till Sunday: 7.00-23.00. You will be scheduled in flexible rosters between these hours.
