The perfect job for someone who knows how to score!
The challenge:
You are responsible for finding and buying the best surplus lots, by approaching companies in a specific region. The surplus contains all kinds of bearings and other technical products. The results of the purchase department are the starting point of the company’s process and have a big influence on the company results. You have to find the right surplus and make the best deals. You can use your own knowledge and creativity to get your results. You report to the department manager.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Keep in contact with current suppliers;
- Find and create new contacts;
- Acquisition;
- Negotiating and purchasing;
- Organizing transport;
- Follow-up purchases;
- Stimulate a good cooperation and coordination with internal and external contacts;
- Administrate case information into ERP software, JDE;
- Optimise purchase processes in general.
Knowledge:
- 2-5 years commercial working experience;
- MBO+ or HBO work and think level, with a preference for a purchase course/education;
- French fluent: reading, writing and speaking;
- English fluent: reading, writing and speaking;
Skills:
Besides the core competences involvement, pro-active, quality conscience and result orientation, you have:

- Negotiation skills;
