The Role:

Bloomberg News seeks a reporter for the Amsterdam office to join the European
technology team, covering Royal Philips Electronics NV and other Dutch technology companies.

The successful applicant is expected to produce exclusive breaking-news stories, executive interviews and enterprise pieces about Philips as well as the European technology beat.

The reporter will handle spot news such as mergers and acquisitions, personnel
changes, earnings, and collaborate with reporters in the European technology
team to break news under real-time deadlines.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is essential
- Journalism experience is essential
- Experience of working in a real-time news environment in desirable
- Experience of reporting on European technology companies is desirable
