Purpose of the job
As a Customer Contact Representative in our Sales and Service Centre you answer travel related questions coming from KLM’s customers and, if applicable, travel agents. You suggest opportunities for them to fly with KLM and make the travel reservations or help them solve their own specific problem while visiting KLM website. You look for improvements in the process and take further action if needed.
Cygnific provides KLM, AirFrance, Delta and Martinair with Sales- & Service activities. We do this for 19 West-European countries in 11 different languages! Have you got excellent command of the languague(s) mentioned above and English? Read on!!
So, what does the job involve? Glad you asked! On the job, you can expect the following:
Customer Services:
You give general information, support and service in an effective way to customers in order to
improve customer satisfaction.
Reservations & Sales
You give information to KLM’s customers on flight fares, availability and schedules.
Also, you recognize sales leads and act upon them, explain advantages of the KLM product over competitive airlines and searches for alternatives.
Feedback
Your collect feedback about KLM and about the use of KLM.com and suggest improvement during
team meetings.
Sounds good? But, because we provide the highest possible level of quality
we do ask for the following.
You have:
* General (HAVO) or professional (MBO) secondary education level of work and perception
* Fluent knowledge of English and French
* Experience in working with computers
* Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Preferred is:
* Education in tourism
* Proven sales & service attitude
* Experience in working at a call center and/or in a travel/airline related industry
Competencies:
* Interpersonal sensitivity
* Power of persuasion
* Resistance to stress
* Sales & customer service orientation
Training & rosters
The training will take place between 09:00 – 17:30 from Monday to Friday for eight weeks in a row.
Due to the intensity of the training, missing a day is not option.
On a eight weeks schedule you know what to expect. If you have some more experience, you could be scheduled for a few night shifts in a year.

The process
- After we have received your enthusiastic and well put motivational letter & resume in English, Recruitment conducts a short telephone interview with you. If this goes well, you are invited to make an E-Assessment (Personality & Capacity). If you have passed the Capacity test, we will proceed to the interview.
- With a positive outcome of the interview, Recruitment will check your reference(s) and perform a security check, after which you can receive your contract offer!
- Then we welcome you into the training, which introduces you into Cygnific and will prepare you for the job in eight weeks time.
